-This marked the 28th and final Las Vegas Bowl played at Sam Boyd Stadium as the event moves to the new Allegiant Stadium starting in 2020.
-The 2019 Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl featured the first rematch in its history as Boise State downed Washington 28-26 here in 2012.
-The 2019 Rich Abajian Most Valuable Player was Washington defensive back Elijah Molden, who finished with nine total tackles, including six solo stops, one interception that he returned 31 yards, and one forced fumble that was recovered by the Huskies.
-Utah DB Tevin Carter (2015) and Nevada LB Mike Crawford (1996) were the first two MVPs on defense.
-The attendance of 34,197 ranked 12th in Las Vegas Bowl history.
-With Boise State ranked 19th by the CFP and 18 in both the AP and Coaches Poll, it marked the 13th time in the last 14 years that at least one of the teams in the Las Vegas Bowl was ranked in one of the polls.
-Boise State lost a Las Vegas Bowl for the first time, dropping to 4-1, and leaving hometown program UNLV as the only team undefeated in the game after making multiple appearances (2-0).
-The Pac-12 won a Las Vegas Bowl for the first time since 2015 when Utah downed BYU 35-28 (the league did not appear in the 2016 game). The conference improved to 9-9 in the Las Vegas Bowl overall.
-Despite the loss, the Mountain West closed its two-decade run as part of the Las Vegas Bowl with a 12-8 record in the event.
-Making just its second appearance in Las Vegas, UW improved to 1-1 in the Las Vegas Bowl.
-UW head coach Chris Petersen, coaching his final game at the school, improved to 4-0 in Las Vegas Bowls (3-0 while at Boise State from 2010-12).
-The Huskies took a 3-2 lead in the all-time series against the Broncos.
-Washington got on the board first with a 17-yard touchdown pass. It marked the only score of the opening quarter, which made it the lowest scoring first quarter in a Las Vegas Bowl since 2010 when Utah led Boise State 3-0 after one period.
-Boise State was shut out in the first half, marking the first time any team was blanked in the opening half since Oregon in a 38-8 loss to BYU in 2006.
-The Broncos did not score double-digit points in a half at the Las Vegas Bowl for the first time. Their previous low was 10 in the second half of both the 2010 and 2012 games.
-The Huskies converted on five of its first seven third-down situations to build an early lead.
-UW’s 31-point margin of victory was the fourth-largest in Las Vegas Bowl history.
-UW set the Las Vegas Bowl record for fewest penalties assessed with one. The previous record was two by Houston in 2016 and BYU in 2007. The 10 penalty yards tied for fewest with three other teams.
