-USC defeated Texas A&M 35-31 in Las Vegas Bowl XXXIII before a crowd of 26,651 at Allegiant Stadium

-USC trailed 24-7 with five minutes left in the third quarter. The 17 points marked the largest comeback in a victory in Las Vegas Bowl history

-USC improved to 2-0 at Allegiant Stadium this season as the Trojans downed another SEC opponent, LSU, in the Vegas Kickoff Classic on September 1

-The Trojans improved to 2-1 all-time in the Las Vegas Bowl, having downed Fresno State in 2013 and lost to Utah in 2001

-USC improved to 4-0 all-time vs. Texas A&M, including the last three meetings happening in bowl games

-The winner of the Rich Abajian Most Valuable Player Trophy was USC wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane. His seven receptions for 127 yards included a Las Vegas Bowl-record three touchdowns. The previous record of two receiving scores was held by 10 different players

-USC became the sixth program to win more than one Las Vegas Bowl, joining 4-1 Boise State, 4-2 Utah. 3-3 BYU, 2-0 UNLV and 2-1 Oregon State

-Texas A&M made its first appearance in the Las Vegas Bowl and was just the second team from the state of Texas to appear in the game, joining Houston in 2016 (lost to San Diego State)

-USC quarterback Jayden Maiava tied the LV Bowl record with four passing touchdowns, joining fellow-Trojan Cody Kessler, who tossed four in USC’s win over Fresno State in 2013

-There were five total interceptions thrown in the game (3 by USC) with five different players grabbing one pick

-The 66 combined points were the most in a Las Vegas Bowl since Boise State beat Oregon 38-28 in 2017uu66
