At the conclusion of the day the kids were treated to an educational presentation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The day also included a free commemorative T-shirt and complimentary lunch from Raising Canes. “Our summer clinic is always a fun and educational event for kids in Las Vegas and we had another record turnout today,” said Las Vegas Bowl Executive Director John Saccenti. “Terrible Herbst and Raising Canes make this possible with their generous support and we are thrilled that Phase 1 Sports and Faith Lutheran continue hosting what is a great tradition and a memorable day for everyone involved.

GOODIE TWO SHOES FOUNDATION SHOE DISTRIBUTION

Players from both teams have a great opportunity to give back to the Vegas community. During this annual Goodie Two Shoes Foundation shoe distribution event, players assist over 400 children in picking out their very own brand new pair of sneakers. The selected critical-needs Kindergarten thru 8th grade students receive new sneakers, socks, backpacks and more! Many of these children are picking out new shoes for the very first time and that, paired with the player visit, creates holiday memories that last a lifetime. (Photos by Al Powers / ESPN Images).
