Annual VIP Golf Outing - Southern Highlands Golf Club

On October 19, 2015, the Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl held their annual VIP Golf Outing at Southern Highlands Golf Club. It was a beautiful day in the mid-70's creating perfect golfing conditions. 120 players participated in a shotgun scramble style tournament with the chances to win prizes for best score, longest drive, and closest to the pin. Winners of the Longest Drive and Closest to the pin competitions received gift cards to Tommy Hilfiger

Featured holes had product from Jack Daniel's, Bacardi, and Tito's Vodka and were spread around the course. Additionally, Bud Light set up a Build-A-Bar to outside of the clubhouse to create a fun, easy-going atmosphere for the day. After all teams finished their round, the clubhouse hosted a viewing party for Monday Night Football when Eagles played host to the Giants.

Thank you to all of our sponsors for everything they continue to do to support the 2015 Las Vegas Bowl.

Annual Ticket Kickoff Luncheon

Those who attended this year's annual Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl Ticket Luncheon saw a tailgating party break out inside Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel!

A full house enjoyed a program that saw emcee Chet Buchanan introduce Executive Director John Saccenti, Executive Committee President Rob Dondero and keynote speaker, coach Mike Bellotti.

Bellotti, who brought two Oregon teams to our game over the years and now serves as analyst for ESPN, entertained the crowd with stories about his trips to the bowl as well as giving his thoughts on the current state of college football.

“I love college football," Bellotti said. "It’s the greatest game in the world. It’s one where competition and cooperation have to work hand in hand. I truly think it provides learning lessons for kids to use later in life.

"Keep going with what you are doing here in Las Vegas. Please help make this one of the premier bowl games in the nation. It takes each and every one of you to make it happen."

Tickets are on sale now and, depending on location, are priced at $25, $35, $45, $65, $75 and $110 until prices increase by $10 each on Dec. 1.
